Our Story

The Cumberland Gap Baptist Association is a group of cooperating Southern Baptist churches located in Claiborne County, Tennessee, and also churches in Lee County, Virginia and Springfield, Ohio.  The Association was established in 1884 when several churches from the Northern Association and several from the Mulberry Gap Association met together to form the Cumberland Gap Association of Baptists.
