Ukraine Mission Trip

The dates of September 6-15, 2010 are the dates for our annual trip to Ukraine to do evangelism and strengthening of churches. We have 13 people who have committed to make the journey. Rev. Glen Bradley and Rev. David Wilson will be serving at Izyaslav. Rev. Kenny Clark and Don Williams will be serving at Khmelnitski City. Rev. Clayton Dunsmore and Joan Cosby will be serving at Shepetivka. Rev. Robert Hilliker and Walter Dunn will be serving at Midanvilla. Rev. Tim Inklebarger, Stephen Griffith and Ed Reid will be serving at Polonne. Rev. and Mrs. Robert Zavattieri will be serving at Star Kostonople. Please pray for these teams that God will bless with many souls being saved, many lives renewed for Jesus. Pray for traveling grace, and for our families while we are away.

I know that we are in an economic slump, but God is still in control. I would just ask each of us to pray and give whatever God impresses upon us to give. “My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:13

If any church would like to host the 2011 annual meeting of the Association, they would need to be able to seat 150 people and supply the noon meal. Contact the Association office at 869-8716.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL REPORTS

Cedar Grove Baptist Church reports an average attendance of 100 and 4 professions of faith during their Vacation Bible School. Sue Carter is the VBS Director, and Dr. Eddie Overholt is the Pastor.

MCM Baptist Church reports an average attendance of 126 during their Vacation Bible School which was held beginning June 20, 2010. Teresa Drummonds is the VBS Director and Rev. Tim Drummonds is the Pastor.

Shawanee Baptist Church reported 5 professions of faith during their VBS. Melissa Brock is the VBS Director and Dr. John Gibbons is the Pastor.

Union Chapel Baptist Church reports an enrollment of 52 during their VBS and an average attendance of 43. One person joined the church. Frank Short is the Pastor and VBS Director.
